President's Corner

Welcome Back OHE Eagles!

 

I am looking forward to another year of working with our exceptional parents as well as the staff of this wonderful school community as we continue to invest in our children’s educational growth.

 

Please take a look around our website so that you can learn more about our committees, activities and goals for supporting our students, teachers and the community.

 

Our PTA meetings will be held the last Wednesday of each month (see our calendar) at 11:30 am in the OHE conference room.  We will also have general meetings 4 times during the year, rotating between evening and daytime programs.  Two of these will also include educational parent programs.  Meetings are attended by parents, PTA board members, teachers and the principal.  Please join us because YOU are the PTA and your voice and input are important!!

 

OHE PTA sponsors many events including, but not limited to, our fun run, annual pancake breakfast, reading programs, after school clubs, silent auction, movie night, ice cream social, carnival, a dance and many others!  We also supply volunteers for school programs, help with the book fair, create the school yearbook and directory, and many other programs.  Please see our calendar for event dates and opportunities to volunteer!  Remember: no matter where your talents or interests lie, there is a place for you in the OHE PTA!  There are a wealth of activities and events that will be enhanced by your participation!

 

Again, welcome to the new school year.  The PTA executive board will be at your service and we look forward to a fantastic year at OHE!
