Most memorable teaching experience: I remember a student at the beginning of one year who I paired with another student to read. She became very distraught and hid under her desk saying she couldn't read. I reassured her and we worked hard together! She was very smart and made superb progress. Years later she came back to see me and is now studying to be a doctor! It just gives me chills!!!
