                                       An Annual Cultural Heritage Celebration!

                                                                   OHE Cafeteria

Our World, Our School (OWOS) is a PTA project celebrating the cultural heritage of Oak Hill Elementary students. Our school community includes families from all over the world, embodying the core American principle of E Pluribus Unum–Out of many, One.

Our World, Our School programs and events will recognize the unique family stories of our students while providing engaging and fun learning opportunities. The first step in this exciting project was the installation in the cafeteria of an American flag as well as 45 additional flags from countries representing the heritage of the Oak Hill student body. Future activities will include short educational spotlights on the flags during assemblies and a family event focused on international cultures in the Fall.
